Wes Dyring’s numerous arrangements, transcriptions and orchestrations encompass five hundred years of music and include a wide diversity of composers and styles. He has had a long-term interest in world music and holds a special love for the music of Latin America and Eastern Europe.

Wes has taken inspiration from the efforts that performers such as Yo-Yo Ma, Inti-Illimani, the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet and the Kronos Quartet have produced in melding genres and world music styles, and he has infused his own unique voice into his work.

His large catalogue of arrangements and transcriptions covers a broad range of periods, styles and cultures. In the classical music realm, these include such composers as Dowland, Corelli, Bach, Handel, Marais, Forqueray, Beethoven, Schubert, J. Strauss, Wagner, Dvo?ák, Mascagni, Kreisler, Falla and Bartók.

Wes has done a great many arrangements of a spectrum of classic popular music from Latin America, especially from Cuba, Mexico, Colombia and Argentina, and he has also created instrumental arrangements of vocal music from Spain and Bulgaria.

From the pop and rock world, he has arranged music by The Beatles, Seals and Crofts, Kansas, King Crimson, Jethro Tull, Jean-Luc Ponty and Frank Zappa, among others.
